Production Wrapped on Coma, Period. (exclamation!)
Hey y’all! This is coming a bit late, but we just wrapped production on the first web series of our new creative division here at Psychic Bunny. (Look for a formal announcement of that soon.) The series was completely written, developed, and produced in-house, and it’s going to be pretty damn good.
Coma, Period. Dan Humford had a crash. He’s in a coma, and the entire series takes place inside his head. I don’t want to say too much now, but it’s going to be pretty hilarious. We’ve got a magician, psychosexual fantasies, doors to nowhere, doors to everywhere, and a fetus.
The show also stars Rob Delaney, a comedian you’ve perhaps seen at The Improv or the Tiger Lily, or in this awesome video, “Warner Bros Responds to Christian Bale” that blew up on the internets a couple weeks ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yjs7v6GGKV4
Big thank you to all the cast and crew that helped us on this one - we got off 217 different shots, with over 500 different takes, in an impossible 3 days. Big thanks also to Ringleader Stages for their wonderful greenscreen studio - best, most affordable stage in the area, folks! It’s sexy, too!
We’re about shoulder-deep in post, right now - everything’s cutting together quite nicely. In the meantime, don’t you want to be friends with our main character, Dan Humford? He’s not in the coma quite yet, so he’s able to use facebook, make comments, despairing status updates, and post pictures. Poor guy. The impending doom is so incredibly impending.
