Project Tease | PATHFINDER: APPLY YOURSELF

Playtest

The image above is from a recent playtest of the paper prototype resulting from my latest collaboration with Tracy Fullerton and the USC Game Innovation Lab. The game is part of an initiative sponsored by the Rossier School of Education’s Center for Higher Education Policy Analysis (CHEPA), and the purpose of the game is pretty neat.

The Pathfinder Project (which is the new codename for what was previously codenamed “Future U”) is about using games to inspire, inform, and empower high school students who aren’t currently moving on to college to do just that — and do it successfully. So we’re designing a game to help kids get into college. CHEPA explains it a little better here.

More soon about the whole process, but it’s high time we shared.
