Every once in a while, you find something on the internet that just makes life *great*. And if not great, maybe a whole lot easier.
Big into multi-tasking, I use two computers simultaneously every day at work, one a Mac G5, and one a Dell Inspiron laptop. I’ve also got another PC at home. And when one of your friends gets a new iPhone and totally changes their number, it gets really annoying changing the number across all of these platforms.
I used to use Yahoo!’s “Autosync” program to do this, but found that it was horrible at knowing which number was the last updated one. I actually was having a horrible time deleting the number of an ex-girlfriend at the time. I would erase her from my phone, but she just kept popping back up on it again as soon as I synced the phone with my computer! I finally gave up trying to delete her. We’re friends now.
SYNCING ADDRESSBOOKS
Well, anyway, remember Plaxo? Read below - you might want to get to know it again.
If you received the December issue of SHOOT Magazine, then you might have caught an article that I wrote for them about recovering from a financial nosedive in the face of woeful economic tidings.

The article I penned for them was a summary of some good lessons of business we learned the hard way in fall of 2007 when we faced a terrible recession in our own business a year ahead of the worst of the world going to the hot place in a handcart. Since 2008 actually marks Psychic Bunny’s most successful year while everyone else seemed to begin a decline, SHOOT was interested in what we did and why it worked. Honestly, we’re more than happy to share what we’ve learned with as many people as possible and we’re open to any discussions that rise as a result.
Here’s the press clipping for those who like seeing things in print (and for my mother). Full text after the jump.

As I write this, we’re in the midst of ADR sessions on our ICT co-production “Fallen Eagle” being produced for the Army Chaplaincy. Now, however, is a good time to share a few more of Doug’s excellent cast photos and talk a little bit about one of the largest productions we’ve ever produced.
… unless you’re Clinton, perhaps… from the depths of my love for infographics, here’s a compilation of presidential approval ratings since 1946. Every one of them except Clinton (and, somewhat, H.W. Bush) shows a clear downward slide from day one (of course, Clinton also starts the lowest). Many of them also show a very slight rebound right at the end.

Lessons to be learned here: we Americans have no patience, and apparently we didn’t always love war. I’m unclear on if Reagan’s midterm bump is from Granada or not.
Good luck, Mr. Obama… you’ll need it!
I’ve been meaning to share this awesome little hack for a while now.
I recently built a game prototype. It was a 2D game that was meant to look 3D, so I borrowed a play from the RARE playbook and used a 3D modeling program to build the sprites and animate them. I thought it would be good to document the process. So for starters, here’s what most 3D programs kick out: a frame at a time rendered.
Here at Psychic Bunny, we pride ourselves on the diverse array of talents and skills that we provide. We, however, cannot hold a candle to this little place, near Hollywood and Western, which is your go to for Thai Food, computers, fresh fruit, insurance, and probably a whole lot more. Those are just their specialties.
Hi all. Welcome to my first blog post as a producer at Psychic Bunny.
Just wanted to let you all know that we recently wrapped production on another shoot for the Nortel LearniT series. You can see some pictures from the set here.
In the process of shooting this most recent batch of videos, Psychic Bunny found an exciting new partner as well… Ringleader Stages. We’re going to be shooting another project at their facilities next month, but I’ve been told by the Supreme Lepus that I’m not allowed to talk about it just yet.
This is your first warning, though.
Get excited.
Today, it is my twenty-ninth birthday. Yesterday, I returned from a month spent in West Africa. Right now we celebrate a new year, facing both a host of adversities and the promise of a new government with a new way of seeing the world. All of these things are weighing on my mind as I think about what I do, and what we do here at Psychic Bunny.
