U.S. Army Chaplaincy Corps

“Fallen Eagle”

The US Army Chaplaincy needed to spur conversation about ethics and combat stress among US soldiers. They turned to the Institute for Creative Technologies, who in turn brought us on board to create a 25 minute short film that tackles these issues in an engaging manner. The real challenge was in doing something true to the soldier’s experience and including action that would catch their attention, all on a limited budget.
Challenge accepted. We put together a great cast and crew (ultimately totaling over 150 people), and shot the whole thing on an extensive Iraqi street set, without breaking the bank (those are our tax dollars at work, after all). The final product has been getting rave reviews from the soldiers who have seen it and the chaplains who have used it, and is making a difference around the world.
