Having lost our share of money to hotel-casino chain Harrah’s, we were more than happy to make some back doing motion graphics promos for their internal pitch process. The hotel, in the process of developing several new concepts for hotels worldwide, wanted promos created to communicate the overall sensory experience they were going for. These are some of the pieces we developed, on which we did top-to-bottom creative including sound design.
Aside from a large library of still photos, we worked from scratch on these pieces, shooting our own photos, video, and greenscreen plates as needed. We were relatively free to do as we wished, as long as we successfully communicated the mood of each hotel concept, which led to some fun directions. The project’s overall direction came from Yen Lai at The Cannery.
